ABOUT ME

I am a programmer and a musician, and I see art, order, and beauty in both. I am a foodie and a dabbling chef. I enjoy trying new cultural cuisine and finding the best places to eat wherever I am. I also like to run, and I'm now trying to do a half marathon in each of the 50 US states.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like the most important thing in my life are the people I share it with. As a Humanist, I want to create a personal legacy of friendliness, generosity, and strong personal investment in the people around me. I'm new to this, so I practice every day to better myself in this regard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to meet people in my community and perhaps find new friends. I might try hosting travelers as well to meet people from around the world.

I have had two couchsurfing experiences and they were very positive. I look forward to meeting more of the couchsurfing community in the future.

I like all of the music. If the artist plays from their soul, I am guaranteed to enjoy it.
The best movie of all time is Jurassic Park. CG technology and dinosaurs? Nothing beats that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having lived in Japan for almost a year, I had a radical change in my perspective on life. Getting out of my home country was the best decision I have made in life yet.

I have a semi-technical knowledge of music and rhythm I'm always willing to share.
I am a dabbling chef with a few things to teach but much more to learn.
I am a pragmatic problem solver by personality and by trade. I love discussing code and user experience in the world of technology to sharpen my skill set.
