Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I will define who I am by my interactions with every person from every single itty bitty corner of the world. I will never rest!
ABOUT ME
Back in high school I made the stupid academic but amazing life choice to live in Chile for one year. During that time I learned quite a bit of Spanish. After I got home the world bug had already thoroughly dug itâ
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to experience everything. Enjoy life and help people and do more good than evil. Also, I must steal this one from someone: "I want to have at least one friend in every country in the world." I also know that if everyone in the world had this as their goal, war, hate, and misunderstanding, would almost for sure cease to exsist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
What race you are, what nationality you are, or what creed you are, matters not. Love and compassion, the feeling that every being on earth is as valuable to you as your own brother. Would you ignore your brother, mother or father? If not, then you are normal. If you feel this same way about everyone on earth, that everyone is your family, then you are an amazing person.
I want everyone who meets me to understand what a better world we can make this by having this philosophy. I ask why people do not feel this way, I try and help to show them how we can change our minds about people
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The enjoyment of meeting people who I most likley would not be able to or simply not run into in my normal day to day life is the best experience I get from CS. Hosting people from other parts of the world is the best part because it helps you to view where you are, maybe your own culture, with the excitement and enthusiasim of an outsider.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A random girl on the beaches of Costa Rica poured her heart out to me, explaining her whole life in detail. I knew throughout the whole day that she wanted something from me. She had kept walking very long loops around where my brother and I were camping. She explained how she was pregnant and 16. He boyfriend left once he found out. Her family supported her and helped her though this time. The whole while I was confused. First, I was confused because my Spanish was so basic. Second, and most importantly, I was confused as to why she would choose me, a person who could barily understand, to confide all of this information to. In the end all she really wanted was for someone to listen to what she had to say and what she had experienced.
It makes me wonder how many more people wish they had someone they could pour their heart out to, from the small things to the large. Listening and understanding what drives people to do and experience the things that they do drives me to meet people and learn about just about everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to talk about politics, world finance, language nuances, culture from everywhere. I will talk your ear off if you want me too. Teach me everything you know. I love psychology and love learning about people's pasts, present and everything. I particularly love when people have a strong passion. I am fascinated by what about that subjects fascinates them. When talking about what people love, even the more introverted person becomes a brave politician telling the world their ideas. I love it. So teach me about what drives you to live. day to day.
