Van traveler at the moment. My girlfriend and I both decided we wanted to move from Wisconsin so for the last 2 years we saved and built out a van to live in. I am an avid rock climber who also enjoys just getting outside to hike or play yard games. I love me a craft beer and some good tasting wine. I like to tinker and build things out of wood. I attempt to be creative. I like to draw and read when I find the time. My girlfriend loves to crossfit as she was a crossfit coach back in Wisconsin. She loves hiking and getting outside plus spending time with family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to meet people in the areas that my gf and I are traveling to. We are curious about the local life. We want to move and what better way to find out what actually goes on in the areas than meeting locals? We are looking to stay in driveways or on streets. We would love to have a place to shower and get water.

Interests

I learned to climb 3.5 years ago and fell in love with every aspect of it. It gets me outdoors. I sport, trad and boulder. I have been mountain biking for a few years as well. I love trail riding and some down hill biking as well. Hiking is great excersice on rest days and it is cool to see new areas that way. I just got into fly fishing and so far I'm hooked with being on creeks. It's so cool to wade around and be outside all day fishing. Eating is just great. I love all types of food. I can be picky but I like to try new things. Also I love craft beer and getting out to new breweries. Supporting local business is the way to go

My girlfriend Jamie loves to workout at crossfit gyms. She finds pleasure in coaching people and helping them get stronger and lift smarter. She also likes to hike and generally just be outdoors. She likes to cook and make desserts which is now hard in the van so she could bake some goodies for hosts. Extreme sports is not her thing so she doesnt partake in climbing but does like to mountain bike on easy trails.

I love all types of music from old rap to alternative music to older country music.
I generally watch action and comedy movies.
I try to read books but dont always make the time. I love bud not buddy but I usually stick with non fiction books.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very handy when it comes to most things like fixing electrical, plumbing and minor issues people have in there homes. I can build items like tables and shelves. I have experiance with painting. I'm a DIYer. I can change oil in vehicles. Jamie can coach or right up workout plans or bake something delicious. We can both just share stories and hangout as well.
