CURRENT MISSION
Smile, laugh, learn, teach, and love
ABOUT ME
I am a New Mexican born dreamer who thrives on change. I love traveling and meeting new people. I moved to DC to study sustainable tourism and now I work for a great organization that is helping to make a difference in the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Inspire and be inspired
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have primarily surfed through the CS Project as I am constantly traveling and hardly ever have a decent space to host people. I am interested in hosting once my schedule settles down.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed quite a few times now in several countries and I have enjoyed it immensely. I find that staying with locals enriches my travel experiences.
Interests
I have many interests, including but not limited to: hiking, camping, live music, volunteering in my community, singing (poorly) in the shower, dancing, cooking, socializing, having fun, studying/learning, watching art house film, reading stimulating books, yoga, bike riding, traveling, meeting new people, being inspired, creating positive change, and living life to the fullest as best I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living abroad in places like Costa Rica and Denmark. Working in two incredible National Parks. Making lasting friendships along the way. Okay, that's more than one thing I guess ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in anthropology and gender/sexuality, so I can always talk about those subjects. I am happy to share some film and music recommendations, foodie spots in and around DC, and any travel/tourism knowledge I have (most of which centers around the western United States).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stimulating conversation and an opportunity to see some local spots
