Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Jared and I'm from NYC (but I'm moving to San Francisco in April). I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning more about the world through their eyes.
I'm pretty low key and try to be as respectful as possible when I'm in somebody's home. My hobbies include travel, biking, building stuff, electronics / coding. I also love dogs!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet really interesting people and see a more genuine side of the cities I visit. Also, I think there's some really great selection bias with the people that host.
Interests
I love learning new things and pushing my boundries. Having conversations with people that have a totally different set of interest than me are always exciting because I get a chance to see a whole new perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Me and my friend drove motorcycles up from Guatemala City to Los Angeles this past December. This was after I spent 2018 running a research project in Guatemala City.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty good at tech stuff and love demystifying that world for people. Would absolutely love to talk about how the internet works or what computers are if you're interested in learning!
Very excited about learning more about your life and interests. Some particular areas where I know nothing and where I'd love to learn are painting, sculpting, dance, jazz, and car maintenance.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, jokes, some mediocre cooking, and I'm happy to help with cleaning, groceries, etc.
