ABOUT ME

Right now I have just finished medical school and have a very short amount of free time to enjoy before I start residency. This next level of training will be difficult and time consuming so I am hoping to make a few memories traveling to look back upon while im stuck in a hospital for the next few years.

I've lived in great places and have seen some other cool spots. By far, the people make the place! This is why I like couch surfing, because I get to meet all you wonderful people and hear your stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only hosted, Haven't surfed yet.

Interests

Biking, and all gravity sports. Running, swimming, and all human forms of locomotion.

Medicine. Specifically Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. PM&R is the field of medicine concerned with function. Say you get in a car accident and suffer a traumatic brain injury/ spinal cord injury/ poly fracture/ etc, you will likely have to stay in the hospital while you recover. At this point you would be admitted to me in in-patient rehab. I'm the guy who decides your diagnosis, prognosis, and gets you everything you need to get back to your normal way of life. If you need physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy, I prescribe that. If you need a wheel chair, walker, crutches, etc, I prescribe that. If you have a medical condition that needs to be managed while you are in the hospital, I manage it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Downhill mountain biking and launching off of a road gap

Sunrise, Mauna Kea. 14,000 ft above sea level over the pacific ocean. I could see the stars in space above me and the sun creeping over the curvature of the earth bringing day light, and casting the shadow of the mountain behind me. Epic

Scuba diving with sting rays, Little Cayman.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Israel, Jamaica, Peru, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
