Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am from the Finger Lakes of Up-State New York. If you like cheese, wine, waterfalls in brilliant fall foliage, You must go. Not to mention awesome fisheries.
My cousin Charlie and I set off on a quest in mid July. The destination: Colorado Springs where we knew people that hosted us until we settled. The best feeling, leaving after years of wonder, anticipation and hunger. Everything and more than I expected was gained. Affirmation from Free Birds we met along the way. We are chasing something tangible: vistas, majestic beasts, and others that see beauty and want to share it.

I have always hiked to fish or fish to hike. Either way, I'm happy in nature. The rocks/crystals are an extension of the earth to me, I use them to empower meditation. Just began actively seeking jam sessions since our up stairs nieghbro left his kahone* and bass uke with us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was mistaken for turkey by a black panther while hunting on Snyder Hill back home... Craziest nature experience I ever had. Others had seen her before, including myself. She was by the same patch of woods I encountered it the second time. She took one leap to cross the dirt road. Yellow eyes glowed red in the headlights. Jet black with charcoal hallows like leopard rings only visible by their sheen. Thick powerful tail as long as her body. She moved with the power of water and speed of the wind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can preform any chore including livestock and horses, tractor, chainsaw, splitting mal and stacking wood. Break up ice with spud around all outbuildings, whatever you could need. No task is below me. Can do basic electrical/ plumbing work and other handyman tasks and would tell You if I could not.
I carry a positive attitude because I prefer to be happy. I find the humor in the happenings because I love to laugh. I have a harmonica and my voice if you jam. I love my guitar but can not bring it.
