Overview
About Me
I have been studying overseas for 4 years now, 3 in London (UK) and one in Cambridge (Massachusetts, US). I have had a lot of opportunities to travel around the world and see so many different things. This gives me an opportunity to share my experience with people and also to learn and also teach from such an opportunity!
Photography is my current hobby and I really love taking photos. Nothing beats taking a well-composed shot and being able to enjoy looking at it. I just got started with film cameras so camera enthusiasts I would definitely want to learn more from you!
I speak English mostly although I do speak Mandarin and some (albeit confused) Chinese dialect at home. Singapore is a place that is multi-racial, multi cultural. Because of that I am grateful to be able to speak those two languages as my native tongue! I am currently learning Korean as well and although I don't speak well, I do welcome native Koreans to correct me or anyone learning to just practice with me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling but I am a pretty quiet guy when it comes to meeting new people especially from other parts of the world. That's why I am here to make the change. I also hope that through this, I can show friends that I've made over CS places that I am currently living in especially Singapore where I grow up! There is so many things people don't know about this tiny little country and I would love to share what I know about my country to other people!
Interests
I enjoy travelling, photography, Formula 1, football (soccer) and cooking! Even just sitting down chilling over a cup of coffee and talk about anything under the sun can be pretty enjoyable! =)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of Kpop (especially drama OSTs) and less so of Taiwan Mando-pop songs of late. I love reading nonfiction but don't really have any particular favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With deadlines looming, the idea of staying at home to grind out the work is natural. But during the cherry blossom season in Washington DC, I decided to just take a chance and go despite my work. Turned out to be one hell of an amazing trip with really nice airbnb host and also that I took a lot of nice photos and catch up with a really good friend. Never regret that experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - anything I know, maybe Singlish especially? Singapore's local dialect in English.
Learn - everything! Well I am also learning Korean now so that is something I want to do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My experience in travelling and photography, how to avoid a typical tourist habit in taking bad photos. Maybe just general life experience.
