Overview
About Me
I'm an outgoing outdoors enthusiast. I grew up in a small town surrounded by towering Rocky Mountains, and took full advantage. After graduating I left for New Zealand and Australia for 6 months until I began my bachelor's of engineering. During a break between semesters I spent 4 months travelling through Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia.
My partner Sarah and I have both quit our jobs to travel the world. Our first mission was to cycle the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from the Mexican border to Canada in the US which we completed in mid July of 2023. Now, we're off travelling through Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While cycling across the US, my favorite evenings were the ones spent with a host from warmshowers.com, a site very similar to couchsurfing.com but focuses on cyclists. Although my partner Sarah and I are not cycling currently, we'd love to meet locals in each place we go.
Interests
My overarching passion is outdoor sports. I spend most of my time taking advantage of British Columbia's amazing mountains by mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, bikepacking, ski touring, cross country skiing, snowboarding, and fly fishing. As you might be able to tell, I have a hard time saying no to new sports. My overflowing garage can confirm that.
