About Me

Hey there. I'm just a wayward dreamer from the middle of the mitten. I'm new to couchsurfing but have heard great things about it for years.

I tend to gravitate towards creative fields. Not a traditional artist, but I like to devote myself to video and sound art projects. I teach people how to use video equipment for the city of Lansing, MI and I love my job.

I love to travel and want to do as much of it as I can. Michigan is a wonderful place, but I've seen these skies and traveled down these roads many many times. I want to pave some new paths. Meet new folks. That sort of thing. : )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last paragraph in my about me pretty much sums it up. I just wanna travel and see things I've never seen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Neil Young, My Bloody Valentine, Wire, Death Grips, The Zombies, The Smashing Pumpkins.

Movies: Any Wong Kar Wai, Stanley Kubrick or Jean-Luc Godard

Books: Hemingway, Chuck Klosterman, Cormac McCarthy
I've been wanting to read the Bell Jar and Dune....so there's that.
Bukowski was an asshole.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm currently setting up a public recording studio for the City of Lansing (Michigan's Capital City). Residents will be able to reserve time in the studio and record their passion projects. It will also serve as a platform for recording internal audio spots for the city. I'm sooooooo excited about it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never buy new drum cymbals. There are certain things that are better used.

Second hand stores are wonderful. Upcycling things is the future!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories from the mitten and probably a beer ;).

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
