Overview
About Me
I am currently studying in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. I am studying neurology and nutrition. My degree will be a doctor of chiropractic.
I love exploring, hiking, and any sort of adventure. I'm a foodie. I love trying new things, from skydiving to street food, water sports to new books. I love art, especially photography and ceramics.
I'm a musician (piano) and vocalist. My first public performance was when I was 7. I've been performing ever since. Although I’ve been in school, so I’m a little rusty.
I am positive, excited about life, and adventurous. I love having deep conversations, but silence is okay too - laughing and joking is even better.
My instagram is @jarodward if you want to see if I'm real haha. Feel free to message me there too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to host people, give them tips on how to best experience the Bay Area, and I love to make new friends from all over the world. Hosting to me is just as much fun as staying somewhere new.
I love to host people from all over the world and I love to meet new friends when I travel. I still stay in contact with friends I have met in Ecuador, Turkey, Kenya, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went zip-lining in the amazon with my friends from Ecuador and rode miles through the mountains in Ecuador on a bike with no brakes. I traveled solo in Ecuador for 3 months.
I've done a lot more things in life. I'd love to talk about it in person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge of the Bay area, how to get around, tea, a private room, shared bathroom, bedding, a ride to the airport if I'm free, and a new friendship.
I also could work on sore muscles or look at your spine for you if you wanted :) I'm also very good at nutrition and health advice. I know a lot about supplements and herbs that I'd be happy to help you with if need be.
