Overview
About Me
I want to become a wise teacher. That's why I learn anything I can and teach anything I know. Usually critical thinking in a context - it's a lost skill for a lot of us.
I was originally fascinated by operating systems and later added social relations combined with human nature, lives and thoughts. I've been helping my friends with both personal and professional issues for last decade; I focus on providing a different opinion and try to make them see their situation from a different angle. The question is my main tool.
I led a team of developers in my IT company for three years. I'm proud of them because lots of them have quickly outgrown us and have wonderful opportunities within their grasp to fulfill their current dreams and open paths towards new ones. I'm also proud of my friends thanking me for my support when they finally run their businesses better than I do.
Now I'm an interim manager for software projects. I work with remote teams of programmers and operations people in such a way all teammates are happy with the work and their life while the projects still running well. In short-term, I'm usually paid for solving any kind of crises.
I'm demanding and always seek the highest quality available for things that matter to me, be it in the coffee I drink or the people I work with. But don't worry, couch quality isn't something that matters much to me while travelling :)
I usually go to sleep lately and like to sleep a lot (but I'm able to adapt with ease). I enjoy silence and peace of nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I often work with people long-term and help them develop both personally and professionally. I assist people with success (whatever that means to them) and general happiness in life. I like to travel and help people on the way.
My wife Zuzana (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/zuzanadvorackova/references) and I want get to know the culture instead of hotels and tourist attractions, so we are happy to live with locals for a few days. We love cooking and wine... we call food-tourists ourselves :)
Interests
I usually have some work to on my computer (about 3 hours a day). Then I'm free to talk about people, life, business, philosophy, psychology, education or society in general. I'm glad to help you with something you need to do, rethink or create.
