About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Ah...a mission...it's more like a exploration...I have no objective except to live fully! :)
ABOUT ME
Reecently returned home to Seattle after living 2 years in Guatemala as a Peace Corps volunteer; all Chapines are welcome at my home ANY time...I love your country so much and will never stop talking about it! (Si eres guatemalteco/a, estas invitado/a a mi casa siempre...pero le pido que me traigas Tortix y Picamas! jaja...bromas:) Have lived in Ireland too, and I do love that country to bits as well. If you're visiting me from there, I love Barry's Tea...just sayin'.
I'm planning a trip between the end of my contract at work and graduate school for this August and September (2013). The tentative itinerary is: Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and Israel. If you are traveling to any of these countries during this time, or are from there, I would love to hear from you!
PHILOSOPHY
I dont want to ramble on about myself, that's why I love meeting people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life.
Teach, Learn, Share
"In turn, however, it is friendship that allows us to see that there is more than what the prevalent neoliberal discourse places before us as our possibilities. In a world often ruled by the dollar and what it can buy, friendship, like love, opens other vistas. The critic John Berger once said of one of his friendships, “We were not somewhere between success and failure; we were elsewhere.” To be able to sit by the bed of another, watching him sleep, waiting for nothing else, is to understand where else we might be."
