About Me
Hi there, first of all, thank you for browsing through my profile!
Who am I?
Apparently, I love traveling around the globe and learn from other cultures and customs. Although on the surface we might differ regarding our culture and traditions. Yet, after years of traveling, living and studying abroad, I experienced that regardless to our differences we are all humans, with emotions, thoughts, and dreams, and this is what connects :) Yet, we can definitely learn from each other's cultures and traditions :)
This interest in seeing connections between people is also the reason why I studied "Management of Learning" in Maastricht, Netherlands. It is the eagerness to understand peoples behavior and interactions better!
I consider myself a communicative and enthusiastic guy, who loves to have meaningful conversations over a beer or while cooking or jamming (playing music) together.
Some other facts about me:
- I worked 2 years in an international Student organization "AIESEC" that specialized in intercultural exchange by providing social and professional projects abroad to students
- I'm kind of a sports addict (surfing, running, swimming, fighting sport, tennis (played for 5 years until 19), gym)
- I like to discover the history of other cities/cultures
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I talk with active couchsurfer I feel immediately comfortable, either it is because of likeminded worldviews, the passion for traveling and learning or just by having an open and free mindset that goes beyond the "traditional" western view of how things have to work.
I think I can contribute to this community by being myself. This includes some international experiences, curiosity in different perspectives, and most importantly my firm belief that one conversation can change a life!
So let's have a great conversation and learn from each other ! :)
