ABOUT ME

I'm a Stand Up Comedian and writer (mostly fiction/gonzo journalism - I review music and things).
I ride motorbikes and cannot drive a car (legally).
I try to be generous, empathetic and friendly.

PHILOSOPHY

I am open to all knowledge especially when it challenges the status quo - I'm a world citizen first and foremost, and greatly resent the monetary-based structure of global society, along with the culture of fear over love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I should have joined a few years ago because I had a beautiful share house in a lovely part of Sydney, but now I'm at a new place after a couple years travelling, and there's no room (i.e. current housemates would not be cool with it)
I am looking to see more of the world and find ways to better my art (Comedy and Fiction) and myself, so when I travel I'm always down to surf. Otherwise I'm a travel agent and love the lifestyle, plus I'm a writer, thus, happy to steal your stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed and met the couch surfers that friends of mine have hosted. It's a much better way to go about seeing the world, just like WWOOFing which I have done and will continue to do.

兴趣

I am a voracious reader and follow world events and history. I love film and music. The undercurrent of Hollywood actually yeilds a lot of gems, you just have to know how to ignore boring box office pieces and also watch out for pompous indie. Classic Australian films are great, but essentially, if it was the 70s, it deserves a look, wherever it was from.
Rock music. I wnat to see hear feel a musician collapse into a black hole on stage, I want to feel pain, hate, love, lust, joy, pleasure, remorse, regret, mourning and mayhem, just be a poet in the blackness and whiteness of everything else.

Blues based Rock music is what inspires me. Music with heart whether sad or joyous. I want it dirty most of the time. I can appreciate really oviously good hip hop or trip hop or house etc. I'll even dance to mainstream pop if it's good, but I don't want to. That's the booze etc.
