About Me

Whew...

I haven't done a profile in a long time haha. I'm a completely different person since then.

Currently: Just got my first degree. Unknowingly met the woman I'm going to marry on campus. 2 weeks before she transferred to another campus. There's a deeper story in there but not going into it on here haha.

Hey if we end up catching waves on the couch in an intellectual *surf term for killing a wave* you can totally get the deeper story to our romance. It's cute.

Moving on.

I'm an American Black guy who mostly grew up in an area they lovingly nicknamed "All-White-Tukee".

Actual Name: Ahwatukee. (It's Native American/American Indian).

Despite the connotations I think I was actually pretty lucky to grow up there.

Despite the racism haha. But interestingly I got some candid answers to some people's underlying reasons for being racist. Which was pretty interesting. Defiinitely helped me understand it from a different point of view.

Fast Forward....

I met someone that made me want to actually fix my flaws. If you are acquainted with humanity you know that's far easier said than done.

She was like a missing puzzle piece that suddenly made the whole thing mentally materialize. It has kind of shaken my life to a core that's been fixed since I was in middle school.

Yeah one of THOSE type of things.

Fast-Forward some more...

...a whole lot more...

We are 2 people who know they are going to get married whose families actually know we are going to get married, who all ACTUALLY HEALTHILY SUPPORT THE RELATIONSHIP!!!

I have plans on the proposal but I'm still saving so that's cool. Frustrating. But cool. What do I have to complain about? I finalllyyyy found the woman I'm going to marry. That's pretty dope. Even you cynics gotta admit. And then of course start cynically invent all the ways we could fail.

Hahaha. You cynics.

Ohhhhh. Did I mention that she's from Nigeria? Moved here when she was in high school. Speaks 3.5 languages haha. And is adorable? That is both an ,obective slash subjective, & fact slash opinion.

So that's been a whollllleeeee thing.

And I've loved every minute. But it also means she has strictly been to Disneyland and then driven straight back to Arizona. Aka never been anywhere but Disneyland and whatever gas stations it takes to traverse the expanse of desert nestled gently between Cali and Az.

So I obviously slowly want to explore the whole planet with her but figured starting in Cali would be a good way to start. If you've ever seen her experience something delightful for the first time you too would make grand plans to constantly see if you could catch a 1st for her. I mean adults are truly supposed to be too jaded for childlike wonder. Who's got time for childlike wonder?!

So this profile will likely grow with every new place we decide to visit. Gotta let you future-friends know what level of weird I am haha. Oh and I'm 6'3 . So don't go being surprised if we meet muhahaha.

And most importantly be prepared to love her and surprisingly tolerate me in a pleasant manner!
