Overview
About Me
I'd describe myself as a relaxed, open-minded optimist. I enjoy snowboarding, surfing, biking and hanging out with friends. I´m 28 years old, studied in Bochum, Germany, actually living in Dortmund and about to move to cologne.
I would love to experience couch surfing to meet new people who I probably wouldn't get in touch with any other way and kind of get out of my comfort zone.
If you wanna know more about me, just feel free to send me a message or if you're in the area, we might arrange something.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I´m kind of a couchsurfing newbie. A friend introduced me to the concept of couchsurfing and I really like the idea of meeting interesting and new people, who I probably won't get in touch with without couchsurfing and moreover, hopefully gather experiences which are not mentioned in every guidebook, but at the end of the day, for me, it's about meeting new people, share experiences and of course, it's a advantage to save money on housing to spend it for more fun things=)
Interests
-nearly everything which includes standing on a board (snowboard, longboard, surfboard)
-Meeting awesome people and as I heard, there are a lot of them, so that's kind of a lifetime project;)
Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy all three of these things!
It is hard to describe my favorites, because I like many things over a broad field of interests. But I can give some examples: I like the trilogy written by Stieg Larsson, Eragon, Books from Frank Schätzing and sometimes I enjoy reading some science stuff.
I listen to a lot of different music. Here are some examples: The Naked and the Famous, KraftKlub, Toten Hosen, Rise Against, Alt-J, Foo Fighters, Alligatoah and many more.
Movies: Blow (one of the best films ever!), Departed, the Lord of the rings trilogy, Superbad, Memento, a beautiful mind and some series: HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Breaking Bad...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-travelling though Brazil and experiencing the awesome hospitality of the people
-same for the south of the US (just staying in Nola is amazing itself)
-kanu trip though Sweden - there is nothing better than sitting at a bonfire after paddling all day long!
-probably every single time, when I've the opportunity to stand on a board
-negotiating on a Omani market - nothing like German markets =D
