About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Carpe Diem - Travel as much of the world as possible, learn from other cultures.
ABOUT ME
From 2011-2013 I had packed in my job and decided to go travelling. I always wanted to travel but never could find the time so I was actually grateful that I was made redundant. I would say that I am happy go lucky kinda girl who loves meeting new people and exploring the unknown!
Since returning from my travels, I have learnt a lot more about myself, how different communities live each day (their purpose of their lives) and finally knowing what I would like to get out of life.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life in the present moment. Never hold off on anything when you have the chance to do it there and then!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since returning back from my travels I have hosted friends whom I met whilst travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
From arriving in Mexico City and being welcomed by the locals on their Independence day, camping in the amazon, hitch-hiking in Paraguay, building a mobile home and sand boarding in Peru, taking part in a TEDTalk in South Africa, working alongside Ridley green turtles in Chennai, mediating in Cambodia in silence for 10 days, working in a cat/dog shelter in Penang, teaching English to children in Viet Nam, helping my Colombian host to move homes and the list goes on....
Interests
Hiking, listening to Podcasts on entrepreneurship start ups, watching documentaries on wildlife/countries; working out in/out of the gym, drinking coffee, trying out new foods, reading non-fiction books, being around happy, positive people.

The Goonies, Stand by Me, Gladiator, Dity Dancing, Cape Far, Ghost the list goes on. Anything thats either a thriller or a romatic mush lol. Music wise anything that I can shake my hips to. The last book I read was How to Find Fulfilling Work.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my travel so far I jumped off a 10 mt bridge in Lanquin, Semuc Champney knowing that I am NOT a good confident swimmer but I done and love the buzz. I also raised over 3,000GBP whilst completing a 3hr back to back spinning class!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think you can only get to know the country if you hang out with the locals as you will learn a lot more. I recently stayed with a host family who had given me Spanish lessons during the day which helped me a lot.
What I Can Share with Hosts
