ABOUT ME

I sort of stand out with my unmistakable blonde hair and towering height. I'm profoundly Deaf -- but I don't let that get in the way of living a full exciting life! I rely on speaking and lip-reading as well as ASL to communicate.

I teach American Sign Language at the University of Arizona. I love every aspect of what I do.

I enjoy cooking, traveling, wine/beer/food, spending time with my dogs, working out, hiking, yoga, learning new languages, hanging out with friends and reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending almost a year in the same town where my grandfather's family came from in Southern Italy. I lived in a flat around the corner from where my great-grandparents lived. It was the most enriching experience of my life.
