ABOUT ME

I love to play games, learn new things, and am very much an extrovert. I am happiest when I spend time outdoors or in a kitchen. I am a massage therapist working towards becoming a physical therapist of sorts.

I think that being simple and honest is best though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been meeting people everywhere I go and whenever possible connecting them to the places they need to be or making their lives better. I think this is what couchsurfing is all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been surfing and hosting with and by many folks all over. I wwoofed in New Zealand and USA which by and large were amazing experiences. One of my favorite experiences was in Nebraska (USA), I was hitchhiking and had a been having a tough day. It was turning to night and my luck had changed. I got a ride (maybe 150 miles) from a fellow. We got along great, which was odd, him being a conservative rebublican in the Air Force, me being a dirty traveller with political views leaning more towards tree house circus kids. He invited me to stay the night - as I had nowhere to go and would probably pitch my bivy on the side of the road/ and with us getting along so well - I accepted. He brought out the old family cherry whiskey - where the whiskey tasted of the cherries and the cherries of the whiskey. We stayed up listening to Calypso records and sharing stories. Nothing exceptional or to out of the ordinary - save for the fact that I never would have talked to him in the regular run of my life - and the surprise and happiness i shared with a stranger who was willing to open his life to me. In the morning he dropped me off on the way to the airforce base and i was off...
