ABOUT ME

I use to live in the eastern part of the Netherlands, where the land is not as flat as you expect from the Netherlands and is covered with woods and heath lands. I graduated as an archaeologist and during my studies I worked in this field in various countries including Turkey, Nicaragua, the Netherlands and England.

Presently I am living in Orkney where I am doing a PhD which is concerned with the natural woodland of the Highlands, Scotland.

I love to laugh and being creative in different aspects. I am drawn to the world around me and get lost in my own thoughts. Sometimes I walk around and see the world through my camera. I'm doing outdoor sports: cycling, running, hiking, snowboarding.
