About Me

Hey fellow surfers! I'm a grad student in Global Health in pretty-pretty Amsterdam, currently finishing my degree from "home office" in my home town in Unterfranken, Southern Germany. When I'm not busy studying, working or organizing stuff I love to read, play music, do sports and roam outdoors.

Unfortunately, due to my living situation I can't currently host, but I'm always up for meeting, showing off the beautiful area around here that is "der bayerische Untermain" (the north-westernmost tip of Bavaria, along the river Main), and exploring!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people and learn about their backgrounds, perspectives and views, be it from Germany or any other country, region or culture. When travelling, staying with people who know the place is the most rewarding way of getting around, so let's just do that.

I have "inofficially" hosted/stayed with friends and friends of friends (of friends) before and am looking forward to meeting all you amazing people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How about Life?

Ok ok, let' see, I think I can settle for two:
Totally got lost roaming the Great Wall of China, got picked up by another hiking group who took me down to the valley with them, invited me for fantastic food and brought me back home safe and sound. So thankful to those guys!
And then there was this Oudh/Guitar/Djembe jam in a tiny local music shop in Haifa, Israel, with paintings and Raki. Magic!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning: As much as possible.
Sharing: Open-minded conversations about music, society, politics, you, me, things, the world, all the way to deepest philosophy. And of course all my nerd knowledge about biomedicine and Global Health and maybe some bike fixing skills or guitar chords.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some Pasta and Pesto dinner, if you like... No seriously, I have good manners and am a friendly person. Let's take it from there. (I do like to cook though.)
