Overview
About Me
I am currently working and living as an Au Pair in the DC metro area. After graduating High School I dediced that now is the time to go and discover the USA. I am 18 years old and have lived my whole life in Northern Germany.
Whenever I get the chance I love to travel and discover new places. Also I have a passion for tap dance and dancing in general so I am always looking for the next chance to dance again.
I am looking forward to meet you and explore your city. Unfortunately living in a host family myself already I cannot host you but I can show you Washington DC if you find a place to stay at.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion the best way of exploring a country is to meet the locals and learn about the way they live. Each place in the USA is different and so are its people. I love meeting new people and making new friends from all over the world. I already live in a host family while being here in the USA and therefore know what life is like sharing a home. During my year I would love to see how different lifestyles can be in the USA to truly get an understanding of the American culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies are any movies related to music e.g. La La Land, Whiplash, The Greatest Showman, Grease. ... it truly is a never ending list. Additionally I enjoy movies based on real life stories e.g. Lion.
I absolutely love reading. My favorite authors are Danielle Steel and Cathy Bramley (smooth love stories) but I also enjoy reading books from Oliver Sacks or anything related to psychology.
