About Me
Traveling at the moment so can’t host anybody and please disregard the following paragraphs. Stay safe everyone 🙂🙂
Just got back so able to host again:) Please read so we can avoid confusion or any kinds of conflict😆😎 Im a laid back traveler and a foreigner living in Thailand. I am not from here but I love living in this country. I’m on Couchsurfing again because I'm hoping to meet new people who could alter my perspectives on life, offer me information, their couch, their company-their friendship!
By the way, I live just OUTSIDE Bangkok in a place called Muang Thong. It's very local and much more laid back than Bangkok. If you're cool about being AWAY from the touristy areas then this place is fine. You SHOULD google "IMPACT ARENA” to see how "remote" it is for your convenience. You can get an Uber/a cab or take the bus/van to get here. Independent travelers who aren't fuzzy and who can make their way to other places by themselves are most welcome as I don't have a car being just a Thai visa holder temporarily living in a country NOT my own. I can only give directions.
I’m old school and believe in being generous to both hosts and surfers. It’s good to share something to fellow travelers seeking a home for a day or two and most especially to people who kindly gave you a place to stay and whose time and privacy they have willingly given up to accommodate you. However, I’m not a charity so you can also buy your own water or food ,or other needs. Let’s not be freeloaders😆😆😆 Also, please observe personal hygiene. It’s not fair to make your host or guest endure your body odor and then clean up after you and spend money on disinfectant.
More importantly , I believe in being respectful. My time and yours are both valuable. Letting a surfer or a host know about change of plans is common courtesy. Let’s create a better society by being polite and considerate to others :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met the most amazing people when I first became a member of Couchsurfing 9 years ago when I was living in Vietnam. We left Saigon, moved to different places, left this site but we've communicated through Facebook. I wouldn't have been able to visit some of the most fantastic places I've been had it not for the generosity and kindness of the CS friends I've met in Vietnam.
I would like to meet new people again and hopefully, make lasting friendships that defy borders.
