Hallo, Hello, Hola, Salut! My name is Jasmin. I am a 34 years old German girl and I call my home Berlin, where I live and work since 2011. But currently I am a Backpacker and my home is "on the road", wherever my curiosity takes me and wherever I find a place to sleep while on my travel journey. I am taking a once-in-a-lifetime chance and am currently on a sabbatical, travelling the world for one year (end April 2017 - end April 2018). So while i am on my travels (I started off in New York), I would love to meet new people and hosts who would be willing to offer me a couch on which I could surf a night or two :) My plan for those 12 months of freedom: "the journey is the destination". While i am travelling and on my sabbatical, i won't be able to host any surfers but once i am back at home in Berlin in May 2018, i will love to be a host myself.

While i am away from home and on my travels i obviously also need a couch to sleep on. For me Couchsurfing is not about saving money on accomodation but about valuable moments and memories you collect when meeting new people and the experiences you gain through that :)
