About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi there, I'm a Music student at Heidelberg university, but originally grew up in Berlin, Germany. I spent my gap year after school in London and worked in a volunteer programme in a human rights organisation, playing in a shoegaze band on my free evenings. I started going travelling and exploring Europe further. now that I studied Ethnomusicology in Birmingham UK, I focus on Arabic and Turkish music and want to spent some time in Beirut and Istanbul to get to know the city and especially the music scene and bands much better. Therefore, and because my dad is Arabic (from Jordan) and I never learned the language, I just started learning classic Arabic.
As you can tell, I love music, I play the drums, the Sitar and the Saxophon, and I'm keen on learning more languages, so I started learning French at university. My plan is to travel to Turkey, Iran, Oman and Dubai this summer and meet new people and see new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My Italian tour where I was lucky to see Rome, Pompeii, Naples, Capri in very little time, and the Vesuv which was just amazing. This year I got to Venice to visit the art galleries there. Even though Wales is much colder than Capri indeed I enjoyed a walk with my friends right through the hills of South Wales and literally lots of moody fields occupied by just horses and sheeps.
Last summer I travelled to Marrakesh and Essaouira, whilst this Morocco Trip I saw the Sahara and spent a night in the desert near Zagora, with other travellers which was one of the most exciting trips for me so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook amazing vegetarian food, and I love discovering the local cuisine. I could share my knowledge on the English culture and way of live, since I moved to this weird Island when I was 18. I love sharing my travel experiences with people and learn more about what I could further explore.
