Hello I’m Jasmin! I’m a 19 year old girl from Finland!

Right now I’m on my gap year before university begins, trying to figure out who I am and what I want to become during this time and the best way I can work towards that is by travelling!

I only recently got introduced to the Couchsurfing community by a very nice uber driver I had the pleasure of meeting in Los Angeles. Wish I ran into this site sooner but either way I’m excited now to meet people through here :)

the reason I joined this site is because I want to meet people from around the world, make new friends, see travel locations from a different viewpoint than an average tourist and experience cultures in a more direct way! I only recently got introduced to the Couchsurfing site and want to give it a shot for my upcoming travels!

The most ideal result that I hope for is to make lifelong friends through CS ^^

#1 interest is travel and #2 interest is meeting new friends

I’m finnish so nature is very close to our hearts, I love hiking and going for walks. I’m a very outdoorsy active type of person! That being said I also love days that are calm and easygoing, cozy hours watching netflix or reading

My main interest when travelling has to be food 100%, nothing beats exploring a culture through it’s various food options and flavours!

Favorite movies of all time: Inception and Interstellar!! I also really love disney or pixar animation movies like Wall-E and Zootopia. Oh and horror movies are my favorite genre!

Love watching TV shows! My favorites are Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Dexter, the Office and many more! Also I find documentaries very entertaining!

Music: BTS!! aside from that I do listen to a variety of different genres: EDM, classical, 70s/80s music etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I haven’t done enough yet I think, there are plenty of amazing things I’ve done but not one that I can highlight as ”The One”. Maybe when I finally gather the courage to skydive or bungee jump I can put it here as my wildest accomplishment in life

I’m looking forward to interesting conversations!

I’m keen to learn more about other cultures and what kind of life is lived in households from different parts of the world. Hotels can’t offer an experience on that level so I definitely prefer couchsurfing!
