About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Want to see as many sides of life as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing, creative and I try to be funny :D I like to meet new people and make new, mindblowing experiences. Also I am a mother now and I think that is kind of an important Feature about me ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like & celebrating it for everything that it is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing! My first experience was, that I spent 5 days in London with a friend and the time was really great. It was a super cool trip.

And while I did a traineeship in Finland (lived there for 3 month) I only had such a great time there, because I met awsome people through couchsurfing.
I didn't think I would feel so much at home in a foreign country, but my new friends made my stay very special. I enjoyed every second of my time in Finland and everything only was so amazing, because I decided to use couchsurfing. I'm very thankful for everything I was allowed to experience!

I did CS quite often in 2015, also in Germany, because I wanted to also explore the country I've been born in and I'm very surprised that it all worked so well. I've been meeting so many great people through CS, that I regret not knowing about this amazing opportunity earlier!

I hope all people I met feel the same, but I'm pretty sure they do. Would be nice to stay in contact with all of them in some way.

Interests

I am a creative person... I like to read, write, paint, sing, sew and create things.

My dog Sookie plays a big role in my life, but I won't take her surfing with me! I adopted her from a pet shelter.

My family is very important to me. Since the birth of my little daughter my life changed a lot, but in a good way. I love her very much and I do everything to be a good mother to her. She will be one year old in March 2018.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music. All kinds of music, depending how I feel at the moment. My favourite kind is Rock, Hardrock and Metal, but I always hear what my mood tells me to. I love visiting conzerts and music festivals, because they make me feel alive!

Bands I have seen live:
Volbeat (3x), Limp Bizkit, The Used (3x), Rise Against, Stonesour, Papa Roach (2x), All Time Low, Amon Amarth (2x), Five Finger Death Punch (2x), Green Day (2x), Death by Stereo (2x), Bad Religion, Danko Jones, Backyard Babies, A Wilhelm Scream, Black Velvet, Imagine Dragons, Miss May I, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, The Offspring, Iron Maiden, Steel Panther, Seether, Arch Enemy, Ghost, Buckcherry, Skillet, Gojira, Fintroll, Wolfheart, Amorphis, Dr. Living Dead, Ne Obliviscaris, In Flames, Sabaton, Alice Cooper, Eskimo Callboy

Bands I REALLY want so see live:
System of a Down (!!!), My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent, Evanescence, Placebo, Walls of Jericho and Tenacious D.

I just finished my Bachelordegree in the subjects History of Art and German, that means I enjoy reading and writing and all kinds of literature. My room is completely stuffed with books (most of them are romance novells) and learning-books. At the moment I'm studying for a Masterdegree in German Language & Literature and I enjoy it quite a lot :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in Venezuela in 2009 for a sozial projekt for a view weeks and I spoke to an old lady about her family and her life. It was so interesting to sit in the middle of the jungle in Carúpano, experiencing a good talk with a wise woman. She was so happy being able to talk to me in spanish, (because most of the other travelers didn't speak spanish) that she enjoyed telling me amazing things she did.

Another highlight in my life was skinny-dipping in a finnish lake :D

Last big thing that happened in my life: The birth of my daughter! It changed everything! I love her very much and I want her to grow up to be kindhearted and open to the world. I hope to achieve that goal :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sewing and baking! Mostly I sew stuff for others, eg. bags or dresses or smaller things like scarfs and so on. Makes me happy if people use things I made.
I can also repair clothes, sometimes even zippers, if they're not too broken.

Baking is my second favourite hobby, so if you decide hosting me, maybe I can bake something tasty for you ;)

I keep learning new things about me constantly and the latest thing I discovered is that I like hiking :D I'm still developing, finding out who I am, and who I want to be. I keep finding out new stuff about myself and traveling helps a lot to do that.
