I started following my passion for travelling, new languages, and exploring different cultures quite early in life. My brain is German, my blood is Persian and my heart is truly global. I am very extroverted and become energized when around the right people. :)

You can take me literally anywhere and I'll be the happiest little ball of joy - the sea, the city, the mountains, the desert, the forest, the supermarket, your grandparents.

I am currently finishing up my Master's program in Middle East Politics and I work for the United Nations - so if you want to talk politics, I'm all in haha. Right now, I am based in Muscat, Oman.

Beware: I am an extremely clean person, I mean it. :D I can guarantee you that I will leave my little space shinier than it was the day I "moved in". Wanna bet?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm so glad I joined! I started couchsurfing for the first time in New Zealand in the Christmas holidays 2015 with a friend. Then, on our road trip up the east coast in Australia, we only coachsurfed and it was such a fantastic experience! Ever since I try to couchsurf at least once during my trips. I feel like it completes my stay in a foreign country and opens new spaces for engagement. :)

In general, all of my hosts were unbelievably friendly and went out of their way. They took me for car rides and showed me their favorite places, we cooked and played games together, went dancing and just became friends over such a small period of time! It's a really nice way to get in touch with locals and learn more about their lifestyle.

Whether in Singapore, Jordan or Italy, I am still stunned by how generous and caring people all around the world can be.

Interests

I'm a huge music fan and love going to concerts and festivals. I also love dancing a lot, so you will definitely find me on the dancefloor at some point. I'm into art and languages and I enjoy learning about different cultures and their food haha. I go camping a looooooot and like being outdoors.
