Many creators say that describing oneself is the hardest thing they can be asked to do. I tried to portray myself many times but I felt I failed. But I think anything I create, any story I tell, anything I paint there's a piece of me hidden.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

That was about midnight. We were two in a road trip through the south of France and we didn't prepare any accommodation. We were randomly choosing cities and airbnb. But we felt quite lost and tired that night. We arrived to Marseille without Internet and 4% of battery and parked my 25 year old Ford Fiesta next to Mercedes, Porches’ and other fancy cars. Few meters away there was a shopping mall, surprisingly open. We entered and electric plugs and Wi-Fi. I remembered that a friend told me about a page called Couchsurfing and from that moment, here I am. This page and that guy saved us.

It's amazing how people's eyes shine when they show you their own culture. That's one of the most magic parts of traveling. Giving them my attention and part of myself and my culture I guess is the minimum I can do.
