About Me

Hey everyone, I'm Jasmine, I'm from a small town in the Dordogne in South-West France, and recently returned here from being a language student in Bath. I'm still struggling to find out what to "do" with my life, so I'm still searching.. I'm interested in quite a few things, like playing and listening to music, painting, drawing, creative things in general, cooking vegan food... My long term dream would be to create my own self-sustainable home, so anything to do with that and permaculture, I'm excited to learn about :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up just to be able to meet new people, learn more about other cultures, try new things and make traveling easier for everyone. I've realized that living life to the fullest means different things to different people, and to me it means meeting genuine people across this world we live in who want to share their stories, cultures, friendship, views, maybe even some yummy food...

Interests

My interests range from the science behind black holes to trying to make vegan cakes... so I'd say they're quite varied.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music at the moment is Kurt Vile, grungy stuff like the Meat Puppets, then folky music like Mandolin Orange, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Sun Kil Moon, lots basically, and also sitar based music :)
I like lots of films... just not ones that are purely action. Anything a bit twisted, like black swan, or Joker, but I also like things like Juno and Mean Girls. The last book I read that I loved was Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it would count as amazing, but I went to China on a whim for 3 weeks, never having been before, to be a teacher to 40 kids.. definitely an experience!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Myanmar, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, Wales
