About Me

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I'm 21 years old. I live near the mountains in Colorado, USA, but my husband and I are newly married and started off our marriage with three months of travel. We're extremely laid back and love living simply, exploring, seeing new cultures, and meeting people who share our similar outlook towards travel and life. We're open minded and like to experience new things, especially while traveling! We always work hard to have incredible experiences traveling, and we already can't wait to plan our next trip! We also make sure to have fun and keep life exciting no matter what. Currently home in Fort Collins, Colorado, but plotting and scheming for our next trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting amazing people is one of the best parts of travel. We've met so many great people already, and we want to continue to share our experiences with other people and to build new experiences with the people we meet. Making that kind of human connection is such a learning experience and makes travel a hundred times better!

Interests

I play guitar, flute, piccolo, and love singing! My husband also plays guitar and we both enjoy listening to and making music. I'm a HUGE animal lover. I love writing, especially poetry. We both also love photography. Our motto in life is to create adventures everywhere so we never get bored or "settle". Which is why we keep traveling, even though we've set up a bit of a home base now that were back from traveling through Europe (and North Africa) for 3 months. Traveling is definitely our passion. We especially love seeing a culture that's new to us through the viewpoint of a local. It helps us understand what culture actually means to people who live in that place, and we can better see why the differences are so important and beautiful. We usually don't have an agenda set in stone because we like to be flexible and go wherever the adventure takes us. We're free birds!
