I am a Puerto Rican raised in Miami who is currently living in North Dakota after having moved from living for a couple of years in Belgium. I'm vegetarian, but most of my friends aren't (I did it for health reasons), so I don't judge other people's choices for food or for any other choices in their lives that may differ from my own personal choices. I'm a foodie, so I enjoy cooking (though usually not when traveling) and I like to try local dishes/ingredients from different countries.

I'm really outgoing, I love to live life to the fullest, and I have a happy-go-lucky peesonality, so I like meeting new friends from all backgrounds, I enjoy going on new or unexpected adventures, I like learning history and other cultural tidbits from various countries, and I cherish time exploring the great outdoors.

I previously worked as a certified medical interpreter in Virginia for several years.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My most exhilarating physical adventure was skydiving, though I was actually a more nervous scaredy cat while jumping much shorter distances from cliffs at Rick's Cafe in Jamaica.

The most amazing thing I've done that was crazily dangerous was swim far to see a large sea turtle in Hanauma Bay, HI, and since I'm a mediocre swimmer, I nearly drowned.
But, hey- i got to see that turtle up close, and although I didn't touch the big guy (since people aren't supposed to), it was such a tender and humbling experience to stare at the turtle for awhile while treading water right beside it!

My expert knowledge about things is often a mile long but only an inch deep, as the saying goes, yet although I'm not a master of any trade in particular, I'm not a jack of all trades either, haha.

People enjoy conversing with me since I can talk about a wide range of subjects with genuine interest since much about the world fascinates me.

I'm often told by friends that they learn new things from me through conversations as I share experiences or super random and often useless fun factoids, and I'm a corny person who always tends to take things in stride and keep good, optimistic vibes going.
