Overview
About Me
Hi! I love to travel and experience culture through storytelling, music, movement (social dance, yoga, outdoor adventure, exercise), cooking/food, and outdoor adventures. // Hola!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From my experiences using this app my assumptions about this world and the people in it have been challenged more times than I can count. I have been placed outside my comfort zone and learned to thrive more times than I could dream. I have felt gratitude for and connection to people who simply want to learn from and help one another. And I have truly felt a part of a disjointly beautiful community that I hope people continue to value as technology continues to disconnect people from the world right in front of them.
Interests
Life is too short to not try everything you want to in life while you’re still able to. Right now, I’m kickboxing, salsa/bachata dancing, rockclimbing, volunteering at a local bodega for lower-income customers in the area, playing guitar, and cooking whenever I can. I also love board games a lot and am happiest when I’m enjoying the outdoors

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In China, I climbed seven towers of the Great Wall, ate pig intestines, performed at a karaoke bar, learned to make homemade dumplings, and went out to a rooftop nightclub.
In Argentina, I learned to make empanadas from scratch and (tried to) sell them on the street, hitchhiked, painted a street artists’s house with him, learned to dunesurf, saw one of Pablo Neruda’s homes.
