Heyooo! :) I'm a social butterfly that loves to have deep, meaningful conversations. I'm a social science nerd who loves intellectual, though-provoking discussions that unpacks the nuance of things. I'm very open-minded, nonjudgmental, and love unconventional people that challenges mainstream notions of "should." I love exploring new things: yummy unique food, non-touristy local spots, interactive experiential museums, artistic events, film/production/media work, street dance events, and more. My brain is both very left and right sided. I'm very logistical and analytical when it comes to planning, strategizing, and debates, but I'm also very artistic and love being around creative, free-spirited people. I'm very mindful, respectful, and considerate of people's spaces and energy and will be hyperaware not to disrupt your typical rhythms at your place. I'm clean, organized, and like to contain my stuff in set places instead of being sprayed everywhere. I'm pretty straightforward and upfront about things, so I have no problem communicating any preferences, boundaries, and issues and believe in maturely being able to communicate any expectations and differences. Passive aggression is a big no no for my core values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm visting NYC this July 2022 from 7/12-7/26

I can always buy back my money, but I can't buy back my time. I want to be able to travel to new places while I'm younger and have no big commitments I'm tied to. I've made a lot of dance friends and remote friends in the past few years that I want to take this month to visit them.

I love how couchsurfing allows me to meet very unique people from all walks of life and experience the city from their personal perspective. I get to see a more intimate and raw look at the city and its people than just trying to hop around random famous tourist spots. I really want to understand the underlying culture and psych of the city's people the motivates them beneath each city's stereotypes.
