Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ciao! Firenze is my favorite place in the world. I studied aboard there in 2008 and will just now be coming back (sep 2 to 8), but solo this time. It would be great to meet up with travelers and locals while I am there. I will not be doing any touristy stuff. Below are some things I have planned, but I will still have a lot of time left over to do other random things so let me know your ideas. I will be staying in the Santa Croche area by the river. -Rent a bike 10 euro/day

-Evening trip to Fiesole - 40 mins by city bus

Tuesday, September 6
-LE PAVONIERE: In the city's vast green oasis in Cascine park, Le Pavoniere is by far the city's best pool to dive into-day or night. Le Pavoniere also features a poolside cocktail bar, restaurant and pizzeria, complete with the latest video equipment. The perfect place to take an evening dip, the varied summer program of events, which includes DJ sets, live musical performances, fashion shows and art exhibitions, is sure to please the summer urbanite. This day for a night concert and pool, or any other day just for the pool.

Wednesday, September 7
-YOGA ON THE FLORENTINE BEACH 7:30 – 8:30 pm.
Also to just chill and grab a bite/drink.
-Festival of the Paper Lanterns, starts at 8pm

-Full Day Tuscany Vespa Tour with Lunch Chianti region and wine tasting
-Tuscan Food and Wine Tour of Val d'Orcia, 3 towns include Montepulciano
