Overview
About Me
I'm young and becoming pretty adventurous; exploring my boundaries, pushing the limits, seeing what works. Gained a serious desire to travel by way of a significant other on my first trip to SE Asia and I can definitely say I've been bitten by the bug. Corporate world has me caught up in it's game for now, but with every opportunity I get I plan to see the world and take it by storm!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always thought travelling was SUPER expensive, part of the reason why I never sought out many trips. Gained exposure to the life of couchsurfing through someone and figured I'd give it a go! I've met so many interesting people and thought it might be interesting to spend more than just 5 mins in the cafe line talking to someone new. As well as crashing with other people I would most certainly be down to give someone else the same opportunity to see a part of the world they haven't yet ventured. All about paying it forward!
Interests
Dancing (especially Latin), fishing, beachgoing, mild hikes, listening to music from just about everywhere, reading works from other cultures, getting to know new people, things like that. The list is still expanding so feel free to add some for me if your path ever crosses mine :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Generally speaking, if it's catchy I like it. If I can dance to it, even better! The list is long...if either of us end up hosting the other we can chat all about it ^_^
Movies: I'm an action fan, learning to like comedies, and I get a little girly with the romance ones
Books: Recently I'd say I'm into reading about other cultures. Stay Alive, My Son (Cambodian book about Khmer Rouge), The Space Between Us (Indian book about social class), and The Second Objective (WWII book from American and German perspectives) are favorites
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Latin danced in an underground club in Seoul, South Korea. Super talented group of dancers, they even did salsa to "Dust in the wind" which takes a lot of effort if you're familiar with the song and the style of dance. Can't wait to go back!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning numbers in other languages, nothing else ever sticks. So far I can count in 5 languages...English, Spanish Japanese, German and French. I almost had Mandarin but that didn't quite hold. If I ever run into you and you have another one to add to my repertoire I'd really appreciate it! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty open book...it's a little hard to name anything specific but if we get to chatting and I can expand on something for you just let me know! Swapping travel stories is always a great way to start off!
