About Me
I believe if you have spent 2 days doing the same things, you've wasted a day of your life. I want to waste as little as possible. I got the wanderlust when I was in high school have been traveling ever since. I am what you call student-for-life and I recently gave up midway on my third Masters degree. My latest interest is Economics and Public Policy. I trained to be a disaster response and aid volunteer for UN and World Food Program, and I work on bringing internet access to unconnected populations of the world. I love conversations. I am a (relatively) adventurous person. And would try almost anything once. I am easily amused. I believe in sense of humor and can find humor is anything, however grim. I used to have trouble sitting idle, but my daughter is helping me with that. Now I am happy following along whatever she wants to do. Movies are my other great passtime. I don't watch TV so when I turn on my TV it is to watch a movie. Almost strictly independent and foreign movies. Foreign movies help me escape to foreign lands when I am not traveling. And of course, I am an avid traveler. I try to visit 3-4 countries every year. A few outdoor trips every year.
Lately, we have been doing trips to nearby places (less than 4 hours by flight) since we have a young daughter. She is three year old and is already a couch surfer. She has been to 4 countries, 6 nationals parks and 11 states so far!
