I grew up in Northern California near San Francisco, and spent many years of my life living and traveling outside the USA, in Australia, Europe and Israel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many travelers on my couch, at my apartments in Australia, San Francisco, Austin Texas, and Israel - only one through this website. I like to meet up with friendly CS people when I'm traveling, even if I'm not staying with them. My husband and I were hosted by a lovely couple through CS in Prague, and had a much more authentic experience than staying in a hostel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept on a sand dune under millions of stars in the Sahara desert in southern Morocco. Pure bliss.
