About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Austin, TX take me in! I want to visit you in June! I absolutely must get off this hampster wheel! I am eager and willing to be far flung from my comfort zone.
ABOUT ME
I oscillate between being an effrevescent firecracker, and a withdrawn introspective observer.
I am obsessed with the idea of truth in many facets. I try to really get to know people, actually get inside their heads in a genuine way. I've been thinking a lot lately about spirituality as well. I also want to find the Loch Ness monster and converse with ghosts and extraterrestrials.
I've spent the bulk of my life in Providence Rhode Island, it's a beautiful place, but I'm convinced I've developed a bad case of tunnel vision. I am itching to bust out of that and start running a muck, first over this fine land and next outside of my US of A.
PHILOSOPHY
"Knowledge without mileage is bullshit."- Henry Rollins
He said it best, and I've got a serious lack of mileage. This needs to be rectified immediately. I am so hungry for the world and life! Feed me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to become an active part of the Couch Surfing community. I am between residences in Providence, RI and I hope to host folks really soon. I'm eager to set up camp in your homes as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While no official experience yet, I once met a lady named Namjung in NYC. I sat near her in a cafe, and she slid her slice of cheesecake over to me to share. I ended up staying with her in Bayridge for several days. I was told I was a good house guest.
Interests
Textiles and costume history make me drool. I love cryptozoology and the paranormal. Comicbooks are the best kind of books.
I enjoy bike riding, the beach, and camping. I'm a pretty solid dancer, I get really amped on live music, I enjoy a good watering hole..
Skydiving needs to happen this summer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty caught up on television series.. Californication, Game of Thrones, Girls, Dexter, Arrested Development, and of course a never ending love of X-files.
I recently reread Perks of Being a Wallflower, and it was every bit as magical as it was in my teens. On the Road is an all time fave, Y the Last Man is my favorite comic book series.
I recently watched the film, Beginners and cried my eyes out. The Life Aquatic is one of my all time faves, Harold and Maude never gets old.
Lately, I've been revisiting the 90s musically.. The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, and Mazzy Star to name a few. Also, a lot of Piebald, The Promise Ring, Q and Not U, Iggy Pop, New Order, Black Flag, and Fugazi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have to say, that there are too many to mention. Most of my most prized moments involve one on ones with other humans though. Maybe I'll elaborate sometime..
Walking through the desert alone just outside Vegas when I was 19 was pretty fun. I was completely hypnotized by the heat, and desolate natural beauty. It was probably an awful idea to walk in the desert by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm pretty savvy with fashion and costume history.
I'd like to learn more about various spiritual practices, assorted cultures, assorted languages, and I'd love to learn a thing or two about effective gardening.
