Overview
About Me
Open-minded, always positive, relaxed and motivated traveller, who loves to talk and thinks breathing in between sentences is completely overrated! I'm always up for good discussion as well as just having a beer and talking about nonsense.
I'm studying political science in Hamburg and to be honest politics does take up most of my free time as well.
In my free time I volunteer a lot for the Young European Federalists as well as a concentration camp memorial. If for once I'm not either discussing or at some political event, I'll probably be in the park running, reading, I might be watching friends or travelling the world. I've just returned from three months in Latin America and can't wait to go back.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because there's nothing better than meeting people!
Interests
I love good wine and beer as well as food, I probably spent way too much of my money for those things. When I travel, I tend to try everything new - up till now I miss the kitchen of Brazil the most.
Too loose at least some of the calories I eat, I do Yoga, go running or to the gym. I love watching american football (Packers!), hockey (Haie!), and soccer (SC Freiburg!). If I can, I always go to the arena as well.
And of course when I find the time I read a lot newspapers, books, scientific studies, well pretty much everything I can get hold on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz (Rusconi, Samuel Jon Samuelsson Big Band, Moses Boyd), Brass - definitely my favourite, but there are way too few people who know this kind of music (Moop Mama, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Youngblood Brass), and Rock (Arctic Monkeys, Radio Moscow, The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand). There'd be so many more.
And there are just way too many awesome books. Maybe Jane Austen's persuation is my favourite one though. It's at least the one I read the most often.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing a 72 meter cave in Brazil's nowhere and snorkelling in a lake down there, even though I'm afraid of heights. Probably the most breathtaking thing I've ever done.
