About Me
As most Couchsurfers, I am a passionate traveler and have an innate amount of curiosity. So far I have come around quite a bit - backpacked by myself around the world, traveled with friends, hitch hiked in Europe, crossed the Atlantic on a sailing vessel, and even got the chance to actually live in some amazing places.
Getting out of the comfort zone helps me become aware of what's important and of how beautiful life can actually be. After 4 years in Barcelona, my small family and I have started a new episode in Mairena/Sevilla a year ago, still trying to get to know the city and making ourselves at home.
I'd love to meet up with locals (expat or de toda la vida) of the area, with or without kids.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Long time before I knew CS I already surfed couches. Couches of friends, relatives, friends of friends, friends of relatives, work colleagues abroad, friends of work colleagues... and so on. This was a great experience and I always have an open house to receive them back at my place, no matter where that is :-)
Interests
I'm a curious person and interested in many things, but my favorites are all in the arts world: exhibitions, theater, concerts, movies, literature, writing, designing, creating
I also love to be outside, hiking, riding a bike or even just watching the sunset. I hate to be stuck between four walls, I need sunlight instead! I really like long walks and getting to know new places, exhibitions, theater, etc.
I am quite easy going, like to be quiet in the house but also like to go out, meet people and check out new places and restaurants.
I get quite into handcrafts, knitting, sewing, drawing, ...I love to create stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love anything that manages to move me in some sort of way. Any kind of list would do no justice to my real taste so I resist trying.
Right now I'm reading a book on the history of Spain based on foods and cooking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done and try to keep doing is to follow my heart in important decisions instead of just listening to what others think is best.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a Spanish, English and German teacher. If you want to practice or learn something in the language sector, I am pleased to share everything I know.
