ABOUT ME

I find my roots in Italy, Germany, and Bulgaria. But I was born in Australia! That probably why I love to travel all over the place, I can feel like home anywhere. I love meeting new inspiring people in new exciting places. I'm doing a bachelors degree in Amsterdam, but I'll move to Melbourne in February for a semester abroad at the University of Melbourne! I study international relations and political science.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in seeing new places and meeting new people. And yes I definitely need to travel more! I'm looking forward to meeting some of you couchsurfers in Melbourne. :)

Interests

I like learning about new cultures and customs, and I always try to watch the global news. While traveling I want to indulge myself in the place I'm visiting. When I'm home I love watching series and films online, and spending time with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

We just got a Netflix account, so I'm currently binge watch Homeland. It's just so good. I've also been enjoying Orange is the New Black. I'm probably very late to catch on to this, but I love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on an amazing trip to Kosovo, and I experienced so many eye-opening things. The people I met were truly the nicest, and most caring I've ever met. All the stories, from Albanians to Serbians, to the Roma community are all so different, contrasting, but certainly enlightening. I'd love to tell you all about it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking, so I'd love to share any of my traditional Dutch or other favorite recipes. Also, I generally consider myself as humorous, so I'd love to share a funny story. And I could talk for hours about current affairs.
