ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from college and am taking a year off to explore before starting physical therapy school. I believe the best part of traveling is meeting new people and making memories with them. I love all things outdoors, especially skiing and mallow roasts. I'm exploring the idea of running my first ultra marathon this year. I enjoy triathlons minus the swimming part. Other loves are motorcycles (raced for my first time last summer), food, photography, TED talks, mountains, books, ping pong, paradigm shifts and friends. I'm interested in finding a career that allows me to be passionate and engaged in my work. I find learning, teaching, and education reform fascinating. I have a certain curiosity that keeps driving me to try to do and see it all. I think people are infinitely complex and interesting and good.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My brother introduced me to couch surfing when we traveled Europe. Some of our favorite experiences/memories were with our couch surfing hosts. I love that couch surfing allows me to connect with fascinating people and swap stories that broaden my perspective and feed my wanderlust.

Mostly, great conversation, stories and respect. In addition, I recently I had my grandma teach me how to embroider, so if your dying to learn, I know know all about it. I can talk about TED talks for hours; It's my new obsession. I just bought a Ukulele and so in the very near future, I will be an Uke expert and will share my music. If I can talk my mom into it, I'll bring some of her homemade, handpicked huckleberry jam :) It's to die for.
