Hello/hola! My name is Jason.

I've lived most of my life on the east coast of the US (DC / New York). I've also at times lived on the west coast near the major tech hubs due to my work (San Francisco, California / Seattle, Washington). I haven't seen much of the world beyond the domestic travel in the states that I partake in every now and then. I went to Korea recently and really enjoyed the energy that comes from interacting with people of different backgrounds in hostels. Since then I have 100% gotten the travel bug and want to learn more languages and about different cultures.

I work in a tech developing accounting software (fintech). I enjoy the company of others but am also more than happy to explore on my own with little guidance, figuring things out as I go.

I'm always open to new things and a few friends have frequently recommended couchsurfing so I thought to give it a try. I'm pretty easy going and will always admit when I have no idea what's going on or if I don't know something.

Speak english and spanish fluently if that helps at all lol. Most of my studies focus around econometrics and accounting, quite boring for some but if you like to discuss major financial crisis I can share some insight.
