My name is Jason and I am a 28 year old college graduate that loves to travel.

I am new to couchsurfing and I am still getting used to the site.

I am a nature & history lover that looks forward to learning as much as possible about the places that I visit. I Enjoy cooking and trying a great local brew.

I have hiked glaciers, rode a camel in the sahara desert, and hiked mountians in Yosemite. I am looking for my next big adventure.

I have always dreamed of seeing the world and meeting amazing people along the way. Couchsurfing seems to be the best way to do both.

Interesses

Whenever I travel to some place new I always search out history and art museums in the area. I believe that they are gateways to understanding an area and the people who live there. I wish I would have gone to university for history; I may still go back for it. I am a big nature lover and thrill seeker. I love a good hiking & camping trip. I grew up camping a lot with my grandparents and it has always stuck with me. I have bungee jumped, skydived and have my scuba certification. I am always looking for a new thrill. If you have anything to recommend I would seriously consider it.

I am always up for a good beer. Life is too short for bad beer. Some people I know in the states are happy drinking bud light or Coors-light, no thanks. I will go out of my way to find a great spot to drink.

When I am not on the road I love cooking. I am always looking up a good recipe to try and love to try local dishes. I tend to watch way too much netflix as well.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like most music besides rap &country music. Some of my favorite bands are The Killers, Imagine Dragons, The Struts, Queen, The Lumineers, Young The Giant and Coldplay.

I tend to go with Sci-Fi movies and fantasy. Old Adam Sandler movies, Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit, Star Wars, Marvel movies, 12 Angry Men, The Hangover, Little Miss Sunshine, Rear Window, Anything with Liam Nesson in it.

I read a bit more comic book then someone should, lol. My go favorite stuff is The Walking Dead Novels, The Legend of Drizzt, The Hobbit, Song of Ice and Fire, Deadly Class and Saga.

One thing that I have done that I consider amazing was climbing Mt. Hoffman in Yosemite last year. It was just 3 years ago I was pushing 300lbs or 136kgs. I never dreamed I would ever make it up a mountain but after a few years of work I made it to a point where not only did I climb a mountain; I was one of the first to reach the top. That is something I will look back on with fondness for a long time to come.
