Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded, inquisitive person who loves to learn new skills and ways of thinking. I have my bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and am about to start my second year of medical school in NYC. Originally from Denver, Colorado, I have a passion for snowboarding, hiking, and most outdoor activities. Though I like to stay active, I also enjoy meditating, drawing, painting, cooking and reading.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and sharing my experiences. Being part of a community that helps people travel and connect is beautiful to me, and even though I'm fairly new to CS, I can't wait to get more involved.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ishmael (Daniel Quinn), Being Mortal (Atul Gawande), Ocean's Eleven, Flaming Lips, The Floozies, The Motet, to name a few. My taste in music, books and movies is very broad, and I would love your recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped build and install live-streaming, self-cleaning, underwater cameras in Florida and the Cayman Islands to spread awareness and education about the ocean.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In addition to sharing a open-minded conversation, I love to cook and would be happy to help pay for and prepare meals that we may share. I'm fascinated with meditation and can provide an introduction to mindfulness meditation and share my experiences on the topic with those interested.
