我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Experiencing La Noche de San Juan in Esperanza, Vieques, PR. At midnight, at the peak of the whole island celebrating and full of music, everyone walked backward into the ocean and falls backward into the water 3 times for good luck, a fresh start, and ward off evil for the next year. I remember floating in the ocean after the third dunk, staring up at all the stars, the music from the beach pulsing through the water, and feeling more alive than I could ever remember. It was all just good fun at the time, but the next year actually did turn out to be an amazing one for me personally, so I'd say I'm a believer!
