Initially reserved and an introvert, I've not really hosted or been hosted yet, so very new to couchsurfing. But taking a step to meet new (and likeminded) people and make friends globally. Working on being more sociable and will make sure you have a comfortable time if you're visiting. Gay-friendly.

I enjoy video game music and have gone to many orchestra-concerts to experience them. Other music-wise I'm into the usual English and Mando pop-rock.

Generally a war movie buff - so enjoy flicks like Flags of our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, 1917, Dunkirk and such. Guilty pleasures also include Shonda Rhimes shows like Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Bridgeton.

I do carry a Kindle, though I've been too distracted too read - but do fall for Dan Brown series, and other feel-good reads like books from Mitch Albom.

I've done (alone with a guide) the scenic trek to the Annapurna base camp in Nepal, definitely worth a trip!
