Hey!

I am a nomadic artist who's working in a triangle at the moment between Amsterdam, Arnhem and Brabant -a region in the south of the Netherlands.

At the moment I am producing my upcoming debut concept album release tour. What a mouthful. Which will tour through NL mid January - mid February. Techno/Hip Hop baby -and I spit. After that I am planning to open a concept store in Vancouver, Canada in the spring time. Professionalizing the begging for CHANGE on the streets. As part of a video-installation which will tour the rest of the year.

ARNHEMS Work is an ever changing hybrid performance arts foundation led by JASON GWEN. The work is about the look on Western actuality, from different perspectives of other parts of the world. Jason was born in Vietnam but grew up in the Netherlands and with returning periods in Canada. The starting foundation is the freedom of choice in gender, sexuality and lifestyle developments, and a broad look on the global daily work patterns. The (re)questioning about (sub)conscious choices we make to create and live a certain reality. Most of the work is being preceded by a research phase, where Jason is living in a certain reality for a period of time, before creating the work. We often focus on the bottom layers of the modern society, the paria as the system entitled it. Seeing people that people rather not see, turn on the lights in the dark streets, and not having to do a detour ever again.
